Let us pray to St. Joseph for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

An extraextraordinary sign of favour and encouragement of Divine Providence to continue and insist with the holy cloack all year round As an old adage goes, it is really true that "appetite comes with eating" and I apologize if the combination might seem a bit irreverent, but this is exactly what happened in the genesis of a process that finally led me to launch the idea of praying to St. Joseph for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as she announced at Fatima.

It all started last March, when at the beginning of March 2020 on the website of the Lepanto Cultural Center (Centro Culturale Lepanto) I published a post "Rosary and St. Joseph, a winning combination against the coronavirus" in which I launched an appeal to also pray to St. Joseph and especially in March, which is the month dedicated to him, for our salvation from the epidemic.

Without an apparent cause-effect connection, even if coincidences do not exist in the plan of Divine Providence, with great joy I learned of the initiative promoted by Costanza Miriano who, unlike my generic invitation, proposed for the whole month of November the recitation of a specific prayer to St. Joseph known as the Holy Cloack, which was also reported by Informazione Cattolica

Naturally, the Lepanto Cultural Center immediately joined the initiative, also offering to provide an English version that Costanza posted on her blog along with the Italian one.

At the November deadline, if I remember correctly, the recitation of over 100,000 Holy Cloacks was thus recorded, but the pressure of events did not give time to rejoice for this achievement or to rest on our laurels, because a few days later two important news forcefully relaunched what by now would turn into a real crusade of prayer to St. Joseph: the anniversary on 8 December 2020 of the 150th anniversary of his proclamation as universal patron of the Church and the consequent announcement of a special jubilee year in his honor, until 8 December 2021.

Although taken by surprise by these events, I immediately saw them as an extraordinary sign of favor and encouragement of Divine Providence to continue and insist with the Holy Cloack throughout the following year.
But what I was mulling for the moment on a merely personal level, Costanza had already "metabolized" and relaunched it on his blog in a new post.

“After the amazing month of the holy cloack, someone asked to try to do a whole year of this prayer, " writes Costanza. “I confess that it worries me, but since there have been many voices, some even authoritative, asking for this and since I tend to listen to suggestions if I suspect that they come from above, I relaunch the proposal. Let's try to continue doing it for a year ".

In a certain sense, it was the confirmation I was waiting for, that is, that Providence had spoken through the many voices mentioned above, and therefore we promptly joined the new initiative.
The year of Holy Cloack should therefore ideally end on December 8, 2021, but for those who started after December 8, they can always continue to recite it until they have completed the year.

Of course, I realize that for many it may not be an easy task, but in light of such a demanding commitment, it is unthinkable that in the end maybe the virus will disappear and everything will return to normal, that is to say, a state of affairs increasingly poles apart from Christian principles and values. So as Lepanto Cultural Center we have decided to up the ante and feeling very encouraged to dare for the above reasons, as an intention we propose to ask for the maximum that could be aspired and that in a certain sense sums it all up. Therefore we are calling on those who want to follow us to pray St. Joseph with this primary intention: nothing less than the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of his Holy and Divine bride, as she prophesied at Fatima.

This triumph is preparatory to the establishment of the Kingdom of Mary, prophesied by various saints of the past, especially by St. Louis Maria Grignion of Montfort (1673 - 1716).

His writings, in particular the "Treatise on True Devotion to Mary", provide the school of thought and action of the Catholic Counter-Revolution of the 20th century, of which the Brazilian thinker Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira (1908-1995) is an eminent figure), a theology of history encompassing social asceticism, viz. the apostolate aimed at the restoration of Christian civilization.

This school shares with this holy missionary of the Vendée the hope of a great conversion and a historic time of triumph for the Catholic Church, a hope nourished by the promise of Fatima, “Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph".

Thus the "True Devotion" prepares the heroes whose moral profile is outlined by St. Louis Maria Grignion in his famous Burning Prayer: they are the holy missionaries of the "last times" who will crush the Revolution for the establishment of the kingdom of Mary.
